What a British F1 Grand Prix yesterday.  Managed to pack the Mrs and kids off for a couple of hours and postpone a visit to my auntie and uncles so I could sit down and watch the GP uniterupted (not normally a luxury I am granted - I usually have to record the race and watch it in the evening praying nobody tells me the results or I don’t switch the TV on when the news is showing) - well WHAT A RACEEEEEEE.  You just know when it’s going to be a wet race then it’s going to be interesting.

WHAT A DRIVE FROM LEWIS !!!!

Hats off to the guy he drove a stormer and only put a foot wrong once while more experienced drivers were spinning around like merry-go-rides.  I think Massa must have been dizzy by the time he crossed the finish line - but he did which must be more down to luck than skill.  Kimi also nearly put it into the barrier near the pit entrance but managed to steer away from it - think that was more down to skill than luck.  Weber facing the wrong way.  Just a shame that David Coultards race ended so quickly as he could have picked up some points and not sure what happened to Jenson.

Lets hope that this victory - by some margin - is a new start for Lewis and answers his armchair critics.  Roll on Germany in two weeks.
